Renee’s passion for her business comes across in her training seminars. So does her ability to translate personal experience into a meaningful message. Her “real life” approach and sense of humor make for a memorable learning experience and a great way to jump start your career.
Renee Chatalas has a degree in communications, a minor in business, and more than 20 years of experience in the real estate and sales fields.
Prior to her real estate career, Renee was a lead sales manager for a large corporation (operating in the US and Mexico) selling products and services to accessorize homes. She managed over 250 independent contractors and was later chosen out of over 1,000 managers to become one of 30 management trainers for the company. She received numerous awards for consistent production in the top 1% of the company and national recruiting awards as a management trainer. Renee spoke at countless seminars, frequently with audiences in excess of 1,000 attendees. |
After moving to Seattle and joining a Seattle real estate company, Renee was able to build a very successful real estate business within 2 years, without knowing a single person in the Seattle area when she first moved to the city. Given her strong background in sales and training, Renee realized that the real estate industry was in great need of improved training. She started to teach at a local education facility and quickly made a name for herself as a real estate trainer. Renee wrote numerous classes which are still being taught to this day. The Making of a Pro® is her most comprehensive training program, which she has taught to hundreds of agents in Arizona, California, Idaho, and throughout Washington State.
Over the years, Renee has spoken at a wide variety of real estate events, including national company gatherings, kick-off meetings, and manager retreats. Renee is still active in real estate and was recently selected as a 5 star realtor by the Seattle Magazine. She has been working with a business partner for the last three years to make real estate training her priority. This keeps her in touch with "the real world" of real estate, but allows her the time needed to focus on her true passion: to help agents grow to be as productive and successful as possible. Renee always strives to raise the bar of the real estate profession in general.
Renee is happily married with 3 children and her Poodle Zeus. She resides in Seattle, WA and loves to vacation at their water view condo in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.
